She can give directions using prepositions (Where´s the deli ? It´s across from the parking lot, next to a school)

She can use "Can" and "Could" to offer help and ask for directions (Could you give me directios to the museum ? Sure. Go straight ahead for 2 blocks and it´s on the left

She can check informatio by repeating key words, using "checking" expressions and asking "echo" questions (The video arcade is on Beach Street. / I´m sorry, it´s where ? )
