We have 2 classes per week, one of them is Team Teaching so on that day I try to reinforce what they do with Murata sensei and the book New Horizon 1. And in the classes where we work alone, we use the book EVERYBODY UP 5.
So far, what we have done in these first 2 weeks is : Review what we did last year in Book 4. Then we talked about vacation activities (learn how to ...., read books, etc.) using the simple past, they asked questions about the past using "what" (what did you do when you were on vacation ?), "how" (how did you feel when you learned how to dive?), they learned adjectives related to feelings (I felt nervous), we read about surfing lessons and we talked about the life of Marco Polo.
